Fusion-io Prices IPO

Salt Lake City-based Fusion-io, the developer of flash-based, solid state storage devices for the enterprise market, priced its IPO Wednesday evening, at $19.00 per share. The firm priced above its $16.00 to $18.00 per share pricing range -- which itself was bumped this week from an earlier, $13.00 to $15.00 per share estimate. The firm will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange as FIO Thursday morning. Fusion-io is selling a total of 12,300,000 shares of its common stock in the offering. Fusion-io is venture backed by Accel Partners, Andreessen Horowitz Fund, Dell Ventures, Lightspeed Ventures, Meritech Capital, New Enterprise Associates, Samsung, Sumitomo, and Triangle Peak Partners.
