FundingUniverse Buys TwitJump

South Jordan, Utah-based FundingUniverse, the online networking and deal search site for angel investors and entrepreneurs run by Brock Blake, said Thursday that it has acquired TwitJump, an online social media startup. Financial terms of the acquisition was not disclosed. TwitJump provides search and analytics tools for companies, monitoring the Twitter micro blogging service. As part of the funding, FundingUniverse said TwitJump's founder, Alex Lawrence, will become a partner, member of the firm's board, and become Chief Evangelist at the firm.
