Foundry Throws A Line, And $10M, To Moz

Boulder-base venture investor Foundry Group has taken the entire, Series C funding round for search engine optimization tools developer Moz, according to Moz. The Seattle company--an existing portfolio company of Foundry Group--said its full Series C came from Foundry Group, and did not include other investors. The company said the new round comes after a "brutal product launch" and a struggle through late 2013 and early 2014, saying it "made mistakes large and small". The company is now focusing on its Moz Local product, which helps business make sure their business shows up on local search. More information »
