Foundry Group Backs EmSense

Boulder-based venture capital firm Foundry Group has reinvested in a company making brainwave measurement technology, EmSense, as part of a $9M, Series C funding. According to San Francisco-based EmSense, the round was led by Technology Partners with participation from existing investor the Foundry Group, the original investor in the company. EmSense is developing technology which uses physiological and brainwave measurement technology to gauge the response of consumers to marketing and advertising. The firm is looking to leverage that technology to create more effective advertising, packaging, media content, and online marketing.
