Foundry Boosts Oblong Industries

Boulder-based venture capital firm Foundry Group has put more money into the maker of technology which inspired the futuristic user interface in the film "Minority Report". According to Oblong Industries>b?, it has raised a new, Series B funding from Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners, Energy Technology Ventures, as well as Foundry Group, which was already an investor in the company. Size of the round was not announced. Oblong develops gesture-based user interfaces, originally developed at the MIT Media Lab. A recent regulatory filing indicates the firm had recently raised $15.8M out of an ongoing $25.0M funding round. More information »
