Foundry Backs Google Glass Gesture Recognition Developer OnTheGo

Boulder-based venture capital investor Foundry Group has made the first investment from its FG Angels syndicate, saying this morning that OnTheGo Platforms has raised $700,000 in a financing round, led by the venture firm. $330,000 of that investment came from FG Angels, the AngelList syndicate that Foundry set up last year to allow individual angel investors to participate infunding rounds led by Foundry. OnTheGo Platforms is developing gesture recognition software for Google Glass, the Internet-connected, heads-up glasses which Google has been offering out to a select number of users.
