Foundry Group Leads Investment In Fitbit

Boulder-based venture capital firm Foundry Group has announced that it is the lead in an investment in San Francisco-based Fitbit, the developer of a device for tracking fitness and exercise. Foundry lead a $9M investment round for Fitbit, which also included investors True Ventures and SoftTech VC. The investment is the latest exercise-related investment for Foundry and also for investor Brad Feld, who is a long distance marathon runner. Feld has previously been involved with food and diet tracking firm DailyBurn. More information »
