Evergreen Energy Gets $7M

Denver-based Evergreen Energy, a publicly held provider of green energy solutions, said today that it has raised approximately $7M from institutional investors. Names of those investors were not disclosed. The firm said the funding is a part of a capital restructuring of the firm as it spins out its K-Fuel operations. Rodman & Renshaw LLC was the placement agent in the transaction. Evergreen Energy is listed as EEE on the NYSE Arca.
