EnVysion Gains $1.1M

Louisville, Colorado-based EnVysion, which operates a hosted, remotely managed video surveillance service, has raised nearly $1.18M in venture funding, out of a $1.9M venture round, according to a regulatory filing. According to the regulatory filing, which was filed today, the funding tranche closed March 31st. The funding is not unexpected; EnVysion's chairman, Dan Caruso, said publicly two weeks ago that the firm was completing an inside round for the firm, but was still looking for additional investors. EnVysion has previously raised capital from Columbia Capital, High Country Venture, and Bear Equity. According to EnVysion, the first tranche came from its major investors; the firm is still in the midst of closing out the firm's fundraising efforts, with additional funding to follow.
