EMC, McData Show Wares

Broomfield, Colorado-based McData said today at EMC World that it will add EMC's Rainfinity Global File Virtualization product to its remote office consolidation solution. McData said that it will demonstrate the EMC Rainfinity product as part of a simulated SAN at EMC World. McData is a provider of storage switches used in the storage area networking market, and has had a long partnership with EMC. McData was originally spun out of EMC to focus on the storage switching market. EMC acquired Rainfinity last August for around $100M.
