eEye Acquired By BeyondTrust

Security software developer eEye, which has operations in Phoenix, has been acquired by fellow security software firm BeyondTrust, the firms said this morning. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. BeyondTrust said that it will integrate eEye's Retina CS products with its PowerBroker family of products. eEye was venture backed by Openview Venture Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners and Insight Venture Partners.
