EcoScraps Digs Up $1.5M

Provo, Utah-based EcoScraps, a manufacturer of chemical-free, organic lawn and garden products, including compost, has raised $1.5M in a Series A funding, the firm said today. The round was led by Kickstart Seed Fund, and also included DBL Investors and Peterson Ventures. The firm said its use of those products--instead of typical manure and similar products--are sustainable and contain twice the amount of essential soil nutrients. More information »
