ePlan Services Acquired by Paychex

Denver-based ePlan Services, a provider of recordkeeping services for 401(k) providers, has been acquired by payroll firm Paychex. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. ePlan Services was founded in 1999, and was co-founded by Mark and Dan Gutrich. Paychex said ePlan Services will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, and will retain its existing employees.
