eFileCabinet Upgrades Software

Provo, Utah-based eFileCabinet, which develops electronic document management and online data backup tools, said this week that it has upgraded the firm's flagship eFileCabinet software. According to the firm, the new software adds permission-based groups, auditing features, check-in and check-out tracking features, and file encryption. eFileCabinet's products are used by companies to capture and mange their electronic documents. The firm is venture backed by the Canopy Group.
