DSI Teams With FalconStor On VTL

Englewood, Colorado-based Dynamic Solutions International, a provider of data storage products for the Unisys market, has teamed with storage software provider FalconStor on a virtual tape product. FalconStor Software, a developer of disk-based data protection applications, said yesterday that its VirtualTape Library has been introduced to the OS2200 mainframe market through Dynamic Solutions International. DSI will offer FalconStor's VirtualTape Library for the Unisys MCP mainframe space. Virtual tape products are used to emulate tape backup systems with disk-based storage subsystems, and are used by IT administrators to increase the speed of tape backup. Founded in 1973, Dynamic Solutions International is based in Englewood, Colorado and provides virtual tape, tape backup, solid state disk, and storage software.
