Domo Racks Up 100th Customer, Keeps Hiring

Domo, the cloud-based, business management software firm headed by Omniture founder Josh James, reports today that it has just signed up its 100th, paying enterprise customer, only six months after booting up the company. The firm also said it is in the midst of a hiring push, particularly in the areas of sales and engineering.

Domo has been one of the region's most watched companies, particularly after the big success James delivered at Omniture, which he sold to Adobe for $1.8 billion back in 2009. James has raised over $63M in funding for Domo so far, from such top tier venture capital firms Institutional Venture Partners, Benchmark Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and Hummer Winblad.

James is now trying to crack the code on the business intelligence market, developing software which helps bring critical business information into a dashboard for senior executives. The company says 30 percent of its revenue is now coming from the Fortune 2000. Domo is located in American Fork, Utah.
