DISH's Blockbuster To Shut Retail Stores, DVD by Mail Service In January

Englewood, Colorado-based DISH Network, the satellite television operator, said today that its subsidiary, Blockbuster, will end both its retail and DVD-by-mail operations in early January, 2014. DISH said the move will close the approximately 200 remaining U.S. retail stores and distribution centers which had been operated by Blockbuster.
