DigitalGlobe Acquires GlobeXplorer

Longmont, Colorado-based DigitalGlobe has acquired GlobeXplorer, a provider of geographic information systems information. Financial terms were not disclosed. Digitalglobe acquired GlobeXplorer from Stewart REI Group. DigitalGlobe is a provider of high resolution commercial satellite imagery and GIS systems; GlobeXplorer is a provider of web-based search software and content for geographic data information, along with a commercial library of aerial photos, maps, and satellite imagery.
