Crownpeak Buys Evidon

Denver-based Crownpeak, which develops content management software, said Wednesday that it has acquired Evidon, a developer of "digital governance" software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Crownpeak said the acquisition would expand its offerings by adding new monitoring and consent solutions used to make sure that websites and applications comply with privacy laws. Crownpeak is backed by private equity investor K1, which says it has now invested over $100M in equity with an earlier acquisition, ActiveStandards, and Evidon. Crownpeak said that it adds offices in New York City, London and Sandy, Utah through the buy.
