Cornerstone OnDemand Sets Up Silicon Slopes Hub, to Hire Up to 350

Cloud-based human capital and resources management software developer Cornerstone OnDemand announced this morning that it has opened up a new Silicon Slopes office, where it expects to hire up to 350 people. According to Cornerstone OnDemand, the new, 26,000 square foot office is in Sandy, Utah, at 75 West Towne Ridge Parkway. Cornerstone OnDemand, which is based in Southern California, says it has open positions in finance, global product support, sales, engineering, product development, and administration at the new office, which will be its second largest in North America. As part of the new office opening, Cornerstone OnDemand said it has named Trish Coughlin as its first Chief Accounting Officer and head of its offices there in Utah; Coughlin previously was Corporate Controller for Workday, and also has served as Goldman Sachs, Honeywell, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Cornertone OnDemand says that Salt Lake City is quickly becoming a major tech center, and also cited the presence of "several of the country's newest technology unicorns" and the fast growing job market for its decision to open the new office in Sandy. The company says it estimates its presence in Utah will equate to about $6 million in new state revenue and an that it expects to make $4.4M in capital investments over the next seven years.
