COPAN Upgrades File Archiving Product

Longmont, Colorado-based COPAN Systems, a developer of storage archiving systems, said this week that it has released an upgraded version of the firm's Revolution 220A File Archiver. The product provides digital archive of data, and is targeted for use by firms who need permanent archives of data for compliance, audit, litigation support, or records management. The archiving product provides protection against modification and deletion of files, user-defined indexing of files, and user-defined retention periods and expiration of files. COPAN is a developer of storage products that use power-managed disk instead of tape for archiving data.
