Convergent Broadband Acquired

Tempe, Arizona-based residential high-speed data service provider Convergent Broadband Communications Inc. has been acquired by Ygnition Networks, Ygnition announced Thursday. Terms of the deal, which includes service agreements and equipment, were not disclosed. Based in Tempe, Arizona, CBC offers cable television, digital television and high-speed Internet services to more than 100,000 apartments in the Phoenix area. Headquartered in Seattle, Ygnition provides similar broadband services to more than 100,000 multi-family residential dwellings throughout the United States.
