Control4 Promotes Mella To President, COO

Salt Lake City, Utah-based Control4 has promoted Glen Mella, the firm's Chief Marketing Officer, to the position of President and COO. Control4 said that Mella was promoted to lead its internal operations, reporting to CEO Will West. Mella has also served at Triton PCS, Found Inc., TenFold, Novell, and WordPerfect, among other firms. Control4 is a venture-backed firm that provides home automation products. The firm has received funding from Foundation Capital, vSpring, Thomas Weisel Partners, and others.
