Configuresoft Names VP

Configuresoft, a publisher of systems management software, reported Tuesday that it has hired Chris Wilburn as vice president of corporate strategy and business development. In that role, Configuresoft explained, Wilburn will manage technology partnerships, original equipment manufacturer partnering and various activities in new strategic markets. The Colorado Springs, Colo.-based company described Wilburn as a 17-year veteran of the high-technology systems management industry, noting that he previously held senior business development and product marketing roles at RSA, BindView Corp. and NetIQ Corp.
