COMPLETExRM Receives Series B Funding

COMPLETExRM, a publisher of customer relationship management platforms for small- to mid-sized businesses, announced Tuesday that it has secured a second round of venture financing. The Salt Lake City, Utah-based company declined to disclose the amount of the funding. However, COMPLETExRM did reveal that its first-round backers—as well as first-time investor FranklinCovey Products—were responsible for the Series B effort. COMPLETExRM said it will use the money to establish a channel program and to continue its aggressive marketing and sales initiatives. Donald L. Lucas, COMPLETExRM's chairman, said his company managed to lure FranklinCovey through a partnership dating back to last year—the two companies collaborated in September 2007 to produce an online planner, organizer and contact manager based on COMPLETExRM technology.
