Colorado Inks Study Deal With High Tech Transportation Startup

Colorado's Department of Transportation has okayed a feasibility study with a startup, Arrivo, which is developing a fancy new transportation technology along the lines of Hyperloop. The startup--led by former Hyperloop One CTO Brogan BamBrogan--said on Monday that it has signed a deal with the Colorado Department of Transportation, to conduct a feasibility study for a "tube" network around the Denver metro area. The network would use high speed magnetically levitating sleds to jet cars, people, and cargo around Denver. Arrivo claims it can get a network built as early as 2019, if approved and cost and benefits match its expectations.
