Cologix Buys Colo5

Denver-based data center operator Cologix has acquired fellow data center operator Colo5, the company said Thursday afternoon, in a deal which expands its footprint in Florida. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Cologix said the buy gives it over 225,000 square feet across two, hurricane-resistant data centers in Jacksonville and Lakeland, Florida. The acquisition is the ninth for the company. Cologix explained that Colo5 currently has more than 100 customers across the two data centers.
