Collective Medical Finds $47.5M

Salt Lake City-based Collective Medical, a developer of collaborative tools for the healthcare industry, said this week that it has raised $47.5M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Kleiner Perkins, and also included Bessemer Venture Partners, Maverick Ventures, Kaiser Permanente Ventures, Providence Ventures, Peterson Ventures, and Epic Ventures. The startup is developing a real-time, care collaboration product which ties together multiple healthcare providers and payers. The company's CEO is Chris Klomp.
