CoCreate Acquired By Investment Firm

Fort Collins, Colorado-based CoCreate Software, a provider of PLM software for the CAD industry, has been acquired, the firm said today. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. CoCreate was purchased by HBK Investments L.P., a private equity investment firm. HBK Investments is a investment firm headquartered in Dallas with approximately $10B in equity under management. CoCreate was represented by Montgomery & Co. in the transaction. CoCreate designs PLM software used for lead product development and by the CAD industry for 3D designs, and was backed by venture capital firm 3i and Triton.
