Boomtown Boots Up First Demo Day

Boulder-based startup accelerator Boomtown is holding its very first, "demo day" for its portfolio companies today, saying it is about to launch six promising new technology startups out of its 12 week accelerator program. The accelerator is launching its portfolio of startups starting 1pm at the Boulder Theater. Boomtown said its first batch of companies include companies focused on facial recognition, home automation, wearable technology, content marketing, image processing and connected devices.
