Avnet Signs Embedded Board Maker

Phoenix, Arizona-based Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas said Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with Kontron, a maker of embedded boards and modules. Avent said it would distribute Kontron's products across North and South America. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Avnet is a distributor of electronic products; Kontron's products are used for the telecommunications and other markets.
