Avnet Completes $841M Premier Farnell Acquisition

Phoenix-based Avnet aid this morning that it has completed its $841M acquisition of Premier Farnell plc. The deal had originally been announced in July. According to Avnet, it that it will have "synergies" of approximately $70M to $80M annually. Premier Farnell, like Avnet, is a major distributor of electronic parts and components.
