Avnet Buys Another European Distributor

Phoenix-based electronics distributor Avnet is continuing to gobble up electronics distributors worldwide, saying Sunday that it has agreed to acquire a European distributor, MSC Investoren GmbH. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Avnet said that MSC Group is a European distributor focused on electronic component distribution, embedded computing technology and display solutions. MSC Group had revenues in excess of $450M in 2012, according to Avnet.
