Athletes' Performance Raises $22.5M

Phoenix-based Athletes' Performance, a provider of performance training, nutrition, and physical therapy services for athletes, the military, and corporations, said today that it has raised $22.5M in a funding round. The round came from ABS Capital Partners. The firm said the funding will go towards accelerating the growth of its corporate wellness business. John Stobo of ABS Capital joins the company's board with the funding. Athletes' Performance is also backed by Polaris Venture Partners. The company was founded in 1999 by Mark Verstegen.
