assisTek Announces New Software for Clinical Trials

Scottsdale, Arizona-based assisTek, a provider of software used in medical studies, said this morning that it has launched a new product aimed at collecting patient-reported Adverse Events in studies. The software--which runs on Android devices--automatically transmits information to investigators running those medical studies. Adverse Events are a key part of monitoring clinical trials, and are used by regulators to help evaluate the safety and efficacy of products undergoing those trials. assisTek develops software used by those clinical trials in collecting data and running those trials.
