ASD Names CFO

Boulder-based ASD, a developer of spectrometers, said Thursday that it has named Patricia Jacobs as the firm's new Chief Financial Officer. Jacobs joins the firm from Advantage Drilling Fluids, and also has served at Halliburton Company. ASD, whose analytical instruments are used in the remote sensing, environmental sciences, agricultural, mining, pharmaceutical and pulp and paper industries, said Jacobs will head up accounting, financial planning, analysis, capital structure, tax and treasury functions at the company.
