APconnections Debuts Product

Lafayette, Colorado-based APconnections, a supplier of plug-and-play bandwidth-shaping products, reported Monday that it has released a new version of its NetEqualizer appliance developed specifically for wireless Internet service providers and small businesses. The NetEqualizer is a bandwidth-control and wide-area network/Internet optimization device that automatically assists with network flow during periods of congestion. APconnections explained that the newest NetEqualizer model was designed for 10 megabits of traffic and 100 users, with potential for expansion. APconnections added that the new model will cost $1,200 for existing NetEqualizer users and $1,499 for those purchasing their first unit.
