Allegiance Targets Twitter
Salt Lake City-based Allegiance, a developer of software used to gain employee and customer feedback, said today that it has added the support of social media sites like Twitter to its product. The firm said it has added support for social media into its Engage Voice of the Customer (VOC) platform, which allows its customers to filter and convert comments on social media into structured data. Allegiance said it is using text analytics software to monitor comments on Twitter, identify comments that require action, and use that data to monitor trends, demographics, market segments, and more via a survey.
