AlchemyAPI Updates Service

Denver-based AlchemyAPI, a developer of natural language processing technology, said this morning that it has upgraded its service, providing major performance and feature updates to the software. The firm's software--which is accessible via the cloud as a software-as-a-service API--allows users to automatically tag, categorize, and linguistically process text articles and web pages. The company's API is also used by web advertisers, who use the software API to parse out web pages for contextual ad placements. AlchemyAPI is headed by Elliot Turner.
