Albeo Technologies Acquired By GE

Boulder-based Albeo Technologies, which develops LED-based, solid state lighting fixtures, has been acquired by GE Lighting, GE said Monday afternoon. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Privately held Albeo was founded in 2004, and was headed by Jeff Bisberg. Ge said the acquisition will offer its customers a more complete and integrated LED solution.
