Air Ambulance By iPhone: AirLife Denver Releases App

In an example of how ubiquitous mobile apps are becoming, local emergency air transport provider AirLife Denver said it has released its own, mobile app on iTunes--to let emergency medical services request an emergency helicopter, using their iPhone. The air ambulance provider, along with Denver healthcare system HealthONE, said the free app lets registered frist responders directly pinpoint coordinates, alert flight crews, and communicate information all via their iPhone. The company did say that it is requiring phone confirmations for launches.
