AFS Technologies Buys Becton Schantz

Phoenix-based AFS TEchnologies, a developer of software for the food and beverage industry, said Monday that it has acquired Becton Schantz, an Atlanta-based provider of integrated administrative solutions for sales agencies serving those markets. Financial terms of the cash deal were not disclosed. Becton Schantz's products are used for order management, and sales force automation for sales agencies, and was founded in 1984.
