AFS Technologies Buys Softrax

Phoenix-based AFS Technologies, a developer of enterprise software for the food and beverage market, said today that it has acquired certain assets of Softrax Corporation, a provider of revenue management and billing solutions. Financial terms of the cash deal were not disclosed. AFS said that Softrax provides billing to software, software-as-a-service, information provider, Internet, and other sectors. The firm said the buy would broaden its enterprise technology platform, to expand into other industries beyond the food, beverage, logistics, and supply chain markets. Softrax was based in Canton, Mass.
