Advanced Unmanned Takes On Aerial Imaging Via UAV

Denver-based Advanced Unmanned said today that it is designing a fleet of unmanned, aerial vehicles to help provider aerial imagery services to both the commercial marketplace as well as to government entities. The company, founded by David Record, said it is looking to provide ultra high-resolution imagery, obtained via custom, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) designed for the firm by Colorado Spring's Airboss Aerospace. The company did not say when it plans to launch its services, only that it believes its use of UAVs will help provide "near-real time delivery" at a fraction of the cost of other aerial imagery providers.
