Accubid Acquired By Trimble

Accubid Systems, a developer of project estimating, project management, and service management software for the electrical and mechanical contracting market, has been acquired. The firm, which has U.S. offices in Denver, was acquired by Trimble Systems, a Silicon Valley-based maker of GPS related products. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. The firms said the purchase was an asset buy. Accubid's software was used by electrical and mechanical contractors to estimate their bids for projects. Accubid also has offices in Concord, Ontario, Canada.
