ZettaCore Gets $21M

Denver-based ZettaCore, which is developing advanced materials for the electronics market, announced over the weekend that it has raised $21M in a Series C funding round. The funding round came from Globis Capital Partners, Itochu Technology Ventures, Yasuda Enterprise Development, Epic Ventures, and Panasonic Ventures, in addition to existing investors Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Radius Ventures, Oxford Biosciences, Access Ventures, Garrett Capital, and Stanford University. ZettaCore said it will use the funding to expand internationally, create new product offerings, and ramp commercial production of its technology.
