Zayo Completes Citynet Unit Acquisition

Louisville, Colorado-based Zago Group said Monday that it has closed its acquisition of Citynet Fiber Network. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Zayo Group had said in December that it was acquiring Citynet Fiber Network, the wholesale division of communications provider Citynet, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. According to Zayo, CFN becomes part of its Zayo Bandwidth fiber bandwidth business unit. The acquisition is the sixth for the firm since spring of 2007.
