Webroot Powers F5 Networks Product

Broomfield, Colorado-based security software firm Webroot said today that it is in a deal with F5 Networks, to power F5's new Traffic Management Operating System. Webroot says its IP reputation services will be used to provide enterprises with protection against Internet-based threats. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Webroot's data tracks malicious IP addresses, and is being used to block access from those IP addresses to enterprises.
