Webroot Extends Security Tools To HP

Broomfield, Colorado-based Internet security software developer Webroot said today that it has launched a new product for HP, as part of the HP Enterprise Security Product portfolio. The company said its BrightCloud IP Reputation Service will be offered up to HP's customers, to help protect enterprise customers from threats from mobile apps. The company said its tools help identify malicious IP traffic associated with mobile apps. Financial details o the deal with HP were not announced; the product is expected to roll out to HP's customers by the end of the year.
