Vulcan Invests In Boulder Firm

Boulder Colorado-based International Catastrophe Insurance Managers said this week that Vulcan Capital, the investment arm of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, has taken a controlling interest in the firm. ICAT provdes catastrophe peril coverage to small and middle market businesses located in catastrophe-exposed regions of the United States. Vulcan Capital is the private investment group of Paul G. Allen, co-founder of Microsoft. Vulcan is an active early stage venture capital to public investment entity.
